- A.C.T.T is a Non-governmental organization(NGO), non political and non religious, with a trustee board members of five people, setup on 15th October, 2007, in lake gardens (93 ward), in the beautiful city of joy kolkata,
- This organization was setup by a French citizen, Mr. Thierry Darnaudet when he started to look after some children in 1990 to provide better education, food, health care and shelter to the orphans, runaways and children living in the streets
- A.C.T.T, is operating full time residential homes and a school in south Kolkata city in lake gardens area.
-A.C.T.T, is currently taking care of nearly 40 children who are orphans and 34 children who have their parents but they are not being able to provide the necessities to their children.
Their parents are footpath dwellers, living in the streets making a living by begging in the streets or railway platforms to meet a day’s meal.
-We describe orphans not only as one who has lost his\her parents but also as the children who have been lost in the crowd near some fairs, or in the platforms.
-Railway platforms and streets are the most common sights where we find these children.
- However, some children have come to A.C.T.T through the referral of other well-known NG0’s of kolkata.
A.C.T.T also takes care of children from deprived and broken families.
- The purpose is to promote the overall development of a child through emotional support and care by providing them with a homely atmosphere.
A.C.T.T runs small structures, as it wants to offer quality time to every child. The staff provides us with parental care and guidance. Therefore, we feel secure and our sense of belongingness develops.

- A.C.T.T ’S philosophy is to view quality over quantity!
-This means, to provide to a small number of children with better facilities of all kind (health, food, shelter, and education) and especially individual care and growth to make it possible that we all grow according to our talents and weakness.
